Mon–Thur, 9am–5pm and Fri 9am–4pm
After finishing each dose the nebuliser unit and mouthpiece should be immediately rinsed then air dried.
To learn how to rinse the nebuliser unit and mouthpiece view the short video tutorial and information in this section.
The manufacturer of Breelib recommends the use of distilled water to care for Breelib. For full instructions, please refer to the Breelib Inhalation System Instructions for Use booklet (IFU) which is supplied in your Breelib Starter Pack.
It is essential to thoroughly rinse the nebuliser unit immediately after you finish taking each dose. Rinsing will remove any leftover drug before it can dry up and block the tiny holes in the metal disc (mesh) on the nebuliser unit.
When rinsing the nebuliser unit be careful not to touch the metal area.
After rinsing the nebuliser it must be air dried. To speed up the drying process:
Gently shake the nebuliser unit to remove excess ZeroWater
With the cap open and drug-dosing system up, place the nebuliser unit on a piece of kitchen roll to air dry
If you are not able to leave the nebuliser unit out to air dry, wrap it in kitchen roll and store it in your carry case until your next dose. When wrapping up the nebuliser unit, be sure to leave the cap open and the drug-dosing system up.
Immediately after finishing each dose you should rinse the mouthpiece with at least 100ml of ZeroWater. If you are away from home with Breelib and have a limited amount of ZeroWater, tap or bottled water can be used to rinse the mouthpiece instead; this way the ZeroWater can be saved to rinse the nebuliser unit.
To rinse the mouthpiece:
After rinsing the mouthpiece it must be air dried.
To speed up the drying process:
Gently shake away excess water from the mouthpiece
Lightly tap the front end of the mouthpiece on kitchen roll or your Breelib cloth, if you have one
Gently press the back end of the mouthpiece on kitchen roll or your Breelib cloth, if you have one
Assembling Breelib using parts which have not been thoroughly dried can make the device ‘beep’ (device error) when you try and turn it ON. After rinsing the mouthpiece, always make sure it is sufficiently dried before storing in the carry case between doses.
